We had a double-birthday weekend. Amy’s birthday was Saturday, and Laura’s was Sunday. It was the first time in many years that they had been able to spend their birthdays together.
Saturday morning I met my brother Stephen and his family for a photo session at Rock Quarry Garden. It was the first time his family had been together in awhile. I took tons of shots, but I wasn’t very happy with them. I discovered later that the ISO settings on my camera were manually set for 200, so there was some camera shake where I wouldn’t have expected it.
After the photoshoot, Laura and Amy and I headed to Furman to watch our team squeak by the Citadel. After the game, Steve and family, along with John Kaup and kids joined us for pizza, birthday cake, and ice cream.
Sunday was a relaxed morning with pancakes, then opening joint birthday presents. Mid-morning we headed to Dupont Forest for another trip to the falls. This time we not only saw Hooker Falls, but Triple Falls and High Falls.
It was pretty much a duplicate of our trip from a couple of weeks ago, right down to lunch at the same spot in Hendersonville.
