Been a Heck of a Week

Monday – new work order system goes online.  Things go smoothly, with only one or two weird glitches.

Tuesday – trip to Columbia for Technology Roundtable.  Listened to a presentation of the new state tech plan, which was an exercise in stating the obvious, even though I served on the committee that wrote the blame thing.  Also found out that Greenville School Board came to its senses and fired Harner.

Wednesday – non-stop meetings and more trouble-shooting for the work order system.

Thursday & Friday – Access training.  Turns out the instructor goes to Covenant, so we had met.  The workshop was excellent, and as a result I was able to fix a couple of problems with the work order system.  Most of my staff looked like they enjoyed it.

Friday night – collapsed at home with a movie (Love, Actually – so-so), delivery from Seven Stars, and a bottle of wine.  Trying to put it out of my mind that I have to work Saturday and Sunday.
