Kelsey and Joe's Wedding-58

This weekend was one of celebration for our family. Yesterday my niece, Kelsey Claire Taylor, married Joe Ford. The setting at Hotel Domestique was beautiful, and it was a great time for our family to get together.

Kelsey is my brother, Stephen’s youngest daughter. Kelsey and Joe met in acting school in New York, and got engaged last year. They set the date for the first of October. When the date arrived, we made our way to the venue along with most of my other siblings, as well as Cynthia’s family and members of Joe’s family.

The three brothers slipped off to toast the young couple with a bit of High Commissioner.

The ceremony was lovely. Stephen not only walked Kelsey down the isle, but performed the ceremony, as he had with his other daughter, Lauren, a couple of years ago. I didn’t take photos during the ceremony, but just enjoyed. Professionals were there to handle that task.

After the service there were the obligatory photos, including those of the Ford clan and the Taylor clan.

This was followed by the traditional dances and appetizers.

The service seating was replaced with tables and seating for dinner.

There was more dancing, and more food. Toasts, etc., followed.

Of course, the crazy uncles couldn’t be constrained.

It was a great wedding weekend. Kelsey and Joe will head back to New York to pursue their acting careers after a honeymoon in Scotland. Joe is a great guy, and I’m glad to have him as a part of our family. More importantly, it was nice to gather with family and friends in such a happy setting.
