Nishan Huff follow-up

The Greenville News has done a much better job of covering this crime.  It hasn’t gotten the headlines of the Souers case, but at least it’s not being relegated to a back page.

I actually inquired about this, and received a response from Beth Padgett at the News.  She pointed out that two days passed before anything was published about the Souers case, and that the Huff article was published 12 hours after the crime.  My reply was that the public is left to draw their own conclusion from appearances when the facts are not available.  The appearance was that one case was being hyped while the other was being overlooked.
