My civic duty – part 2

Jury duty yesterday, voting today –  I guess I’ll pretend I’m a citizen or something.

We voted as Republicans in this bastion of conservatism.  Unfortunately, that’s about the only way we have  any say in who will govern.  It’s more a matter of strategic "voting against" rather than "voting for."  Our governor (and former Furman classmate) is a bonehead, and his Lt. Gov isn’t any better.  However, this state tends to lock in incumbents.  I guess we’ll see.
