It’s September.

I haven’t even gotten all the leaves from last fall raked, and the new deluge has started. The change in season also means that it’s football time. We had our first home game against Elon on Saturday. This is the earliest game on record, partly since Labor Day is as early as it can get.

I think there should be a 12-step program for those addicted to home improvement shows. Laura watches Trading Spaces or Changing Rooms every time they come on. This weekend she decided that our Labor Day should be spent painting the house weird colors, so we got all the necessary stuff and started first with masking tape. As of last night, we only had the trim work left in three rooms. I never thought a wall in any house where I live would be “pumpkin”. I’ll just keep smiling and painting.

On another note, I installed this cool “textarea” replacement field which provide loads of wysiwyg text formatting.  I got it from Interactive Tools.

Wednesday – MTCC

The most boring activity on the face of the planet is watching data transfer.  I’ve been here for four hours, and it looks like I’ve got another four to go until this learning system is installed.
