Being sick is the pits. I’ve had a fever for three days now, and I’m ready to be done with it. Saturday night was the worst, so I’m hoping that I am improving. What bothered me most were the weird dreams and hallucinations brought on by the fever. I found myself in an endless programming loop, and couldn’t tell whether I was asleep and dreaming, or awake and trying to reason things out. Every time I lay down, I would have feelings of suffocation, and would need to sit right back up. I didn’t get much sleep Saturday night.
Sunday night was better, and I was able to get more sleep. I don’t remember any weird dreams. Today I stayed home from work and have been trying to rest. We’ll see how tonight goes before I decide to go to work tomorrow.
