I’ll Have a Little Ice Cream with That

Posted on November 3, 2005 By Tom No Comments on I’ll Have a Little Ice Cream with That
Miscellaneous, Recipes

Tried a new concoction last night. Laura had discovered a wonderful flavor of Edy’s Grand Ice Cream – Espresso Chip. I drizzled a some Kahlua liquor over the top, and created a new taste. You only need a touch – a little of it goes a long way.

Shaken, Not Stirred – Part II

Posted on September 3, 2005 By Tom No Comments on Shaken, Not Stirred – Part II
Entertainment, Recipes

Having had the perfect martini in Washington DC, we decided to search for a close approximation in Greenville.  Our search took us to Sharkey’s Pub, on Main Street in Greenville.  It was as we feared.  Bars in Greenville are limited to mini-bottle quantities, and therefore cannot mix drinks appropriately.  According to the majority of recipes … Read More “Shaken, Not Stirred – Part II” »

Take this afternoon’s show, for example. Rachel is supposed to be whipping up something called Chicken Mug Pie, a variation on … Read More “Rachel Ray Cheats” »

Pineapple Casserole

Posted on October 20, 2004 By Tom No Comments on Pineapple Casserole
Recipes

This recipe was “harvested” (ie stolen) from our friend Judy Leavell.  I’ll leave it to her to disclose where she got it.  I myself stole (oops, “harvested”) it from the back of Laura’s recipe book.  I post it here upon request… Ingredients: 1 large can of chunk pineapple in its own juice 3 tablespoons of … Read More “Pineapple Casserole” »
