New Wheels and Easter

Yesterday certainly didn’t turn out like I had imagined.  Laura decided to test drive convertible roadsters, and wound up buying one!  We found a used Audi A4 convertible with only 13K miles.  It seemed a shame not to buy it!

Of course, we did test drive one other car – a used Mustang convertible with a V8 engine that audibly sucked gas by the tankful.  We also sat in a Honda S2000 (very uncomfortable) and an Audi TT (a bit small.)  We decided that a larger convertible would be perfect for our summer drive across country.  The transaction took most of the day, so we only had evening hours to ride around and show off the car.

Easter Sunday

We went to early service at Fourth Presbyterian, then to Glynda’s for lunch and afternoon activities.  The church service was a far cry from what we endured last year.  It actually seemed like Easter, even if the choir really botched the Hallelujah Chorus.
