Technology Boot Camp, Part II

Posted on August 2, 2005 By Tom No Comments on Technology Boot Camp, Part II
EdTech

Forget what I said yesterday about the relevancy of a Tech Boot Camp for today’s teachers.  Ours went extremely well today, and we got a tremendous amount of feedback that would support continuing with our present strategy.  One teacher had transferred from another district, and she said that in that district no one ever told her how to get an e-mail account, how to obtain web space, or anything about the systems on their network.  She just had to fend for herself.  For her, just finding out whom to call made the workshop worthwhile.

Every now and then, you need a pat on the back like that.
