We hadn’t noticed. It’s not like we hang out in bars on a regular basis. However, we were early for our dinner appointment at Italian Market, and decided to wait in the bar with a couple of glasses of wine. It took a few minutes for it to sink in – large bottles with pour spouts. No more minibottles! South Carolina has finally come in line with the rest of the US, at least on this issue.
I ask the bartender when they made the switch, and she said that they started using large bottles at the first of the year. It was fun watching them mix drinks the old-fashioned way.
