I had my 15 seconds of fame on the Internet this week. My article comparing fast food colors with species mimicry was included on Boingboing.net. It didn’t gather quite the attention of Chip’s soiled sweatpants used as packing material, but it was more than this poor website could handle for awhile.
On Tuesday when it appeared, the site got nearly 6000 hits. It dropped to about 2000 yesterday, and quite a few less today. The article itself got 53 comments. It amazed me how many of those comments took me literally, rather than tongue-in-cheek as intended. Oh well.
