The good news is that your teeth are in good shape – no cavities, nothing.
The bad news is that they all have to come out.
Well, not quite that bad, but I’ve got quite a bit of dental work to endure over the next few weeks. The first bit was Tuesday, a wonderful way to celebrate May Day. Fortunately, they let me use my iPod, so the soothing sounds of Bachue competed with the hiss of dental equipment. The day’s work wasn’t as bad as I had imagined, so I was back at work with only about an hour lost from the workday.
That wasn’t the only bit of medical mishap this week. Somehow I managed to lose my glasses between performances of Carmen. I don’t know if I left them backstage at the Peace Center or what, but they are gone. So, that meant new glasses, coupled with a new eye exam. The new ones are stronger, and I’m still getting used to them.
So, between headaches from twitchy eyes and toothaches from twitchy teeth and an overabundance of work-related stuff, I haven’t updated RandomConnections much this week. We’ll see if I have time this weekend to catch up on things.
