I don’t like to consider myself a leader. There are far too many people who have their act together much better than I. Yet, so how I keep finding myself in charge of things. Some of these positions I have sought out, such as choir directorship and as administrator for a school district. Some have come to me in roundabout ways.
This week, especially, I find myself in charge of a few too many things. Sunday morning is church, with all of the choir responsibilities. Monday evening I have to help conduct a business meeting of the Greenville Chorale as its vice-president. Tuesday I lead the program for the South Carolina Association of School Administrators Technology Roundtable. Wednesday is more choir with rehearsal. Thursday is a meeting with my technololgy staff. I think by Friday I’m going to be ready for someone else to take the reins.
