Gosh durn it, I want snow!

No more ice, no more cold rain – I want the real fluffy stuff.  Of course, since it’s late February, that is now a very remote possibility.  And it’s not that I want an extra day of vacation.  I just want to see my world covered in white for a bit.  I’ve been jealously reading Marie Freeman’s blog and admiring her photography around Boone, NC.  Our weather patterns just haven’t been conducive to snow.

I say that I don’t need a day off – it messes up all manner of school calendars.  However, there is no way to get the full snow experience with a good cancellation of all events.  How else can one enjoy a leisurely extra cup of coffee, several suicidal runs on a sled, then back inside to warm up next to the fire with a good book?
