There were many outdoor activities schedule for this day. Unfortunately, the rain put a damper on most of them. There were two competing farmer’s markets – one downtown and one at its usual location. The usual location was holding is annual flower and plant festival. Since it’s partially indoors, we decided to give a shot.
The rain did very little to keep the shoppers away. Parking was a nightmare. Finding a shopping cart was even more so. I soon discovered that the only way to nab a cart was to become a stalker. I followed two women all the way out to their car, then offered to help them load their vehicle in exchange for their cart. On the way back, I had no less than five inquiries about my cart.
Laura found some great deals on perennials. The crowds and the rain were both picking up, so it was time to head home.
