Liberty Bridge Curve B&W

Having been cooped up in the house for several days, I was getting a bit stir crazy. I decided to take my camera down to Falls Park and see what was happening. It seems that on this beautiful pre-spring day, most of Greenville had the same idea.

Lots of the folks visiting the park were from out of town, including bunches that were here as part of the Bass Master’s Tournament being held between Lake Hartwell and the BiLo Center. There were lots of high-powered boats parked on trailers in the VIP parking at the Center.

There were more people on the Liberty Bridge than I can remember seeing, even during the various arts festivals in town. The park itself was likewise crowded. There was even a wedding going on in the ruins of one of the old mills.

I took photos of things I’ve shot many times before. However, this time it was with the new lens I got for Christmas. I also had another new weapon in my arsenal. I had downloaded the ReDynaMix plug-in for Photoshop from Media Chance. This plug-in lets you create a pseudo-HDR shot from a single image. It also has some other cool post-processing tools built in for adding Orton or B&W effects. I spent quite awhile working on the images before posting them.
