Had a bit of dental surgery last Thursday, so I’m limited to a diet of soft foods for next couple of weeks. The surgery went well, and I haven’t had too much pain. Just don’t expect any restaurant reviews for awhile unless they specialize in overcooked grits.
In addition to grits, there have been soups, apple sauce, macaroni, spaghetti, and some wonderful crab cakes Laura cooked up last night. I just can’t eat rice, chicken, beef (unless ground) or anything crunchy. The nice thing is that I’ve already dropped several pounds. We’ll have to see if that continues.
