One of the very first RandomConnection posts was about "a place for my stuff." Here I had bemoaned the fact that as men start carrying more mini-tech gadgets, we don’t have a place to carry all our gear. It seems that Lore Sjoberg over at Wired.com has also recognized this problem.
If I try and stuff all this mini tech in my pants pockets I end up looking like I have hip tumors, plus after a brisk walk I wind up with my phone on silent, my camera out of power, and a long audio recording of the inside of my pocket. There has to be a better solution.
Of course, Houston postulated that an expanded waistline is an evolutionary advantage, for it offers more real estate for belt clipped devices.
