Lowcountry Unfiltered at Okefenokee-078

This past weekend has been quite the adventure. There was a tour of a historic cemetery in Columbia, and an exploration of southern Georgia and the Okefenokee Swamp with my friends from Lowcountry Unfiltered. I’ve got LOTS about which to write. It’s going to have to wait though. I’m completely swamped right now, and it’s not because of the Okefenokee.

I have to give a talk this Thursday night to a group in Lexington. The topic is on ghost towns under South Carolina lakes, and I’m frantically trying to get the presentation just perfect. I need to get that done before I can write about the swamp adventures. I’ve also got other chores and duties around the house that can’t wait. I’ll try to post something about all of this when I can.

In the meantime, I did manage to process and upload 420 photos and videos from the Okefenokee. You can view those now in the Flickr set embedded below:

    can’t wait to see the cemetery photos…we camped at the okefenokee while we still lived in georgia…what a great experience it was!
