Nudge, Nudge, Wink, Wink

Weirdness

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

….oh, SARAH Palin. (sorry)

When I saw “Palin” the other day in the CNN headline, the first person I thought of was Michael.

When I heard the selection, and then saw her background, I simply had one question: “Why HER?” When I hear her speak, I think of Dan Quayle’s wife, but with a more annoying voice. Frankly, she is not as strident sounding as Senator Clinton, but she is, oh, “too much” or something. The motives behind this pick are simply not obvious to me. The spin is quite amazing, though. And the reporter types seem incapable or unwilling to challenge it.
