dogwood and azaleas 2

The dogwoods are blooming, as are the azaleas.  Our yard is just about at peak color.  So we decide to leave.

Truth is, we haven’t been away together since our trip to London last summer.  It’s high time for a vacation.   We loaded up the car and headed toward Amy’s in Florida.

Traffic was incredible.  I guess this is the prime week for Spring Break.   Our thoughts of heading to Disney sometime during the week were dashed as we watched most of the traffic turn off onto I-4.  I think we’ll probably just hang out at the beach.  Amy has her boat and house fixed, but, more importantly, she has new kittens.  Laura will be happy.
