Cool at Last

James Shannon has written one of the best descriptions of the current state of "coolness" in Greenville that I have read in a long, long time.  Appearing in the latest edition of The Beat, Shannon’s article presents a positive, yet honest assessment of our city.

Greenville is cool. Against all odds, we are cool at last. Sure, there is a lot of work still to be done, but let’s just say it. We cool.

The style settles down a bit from there.  Shannon’s verbal tour of Main Street does highlight just how much the city has to offer.  I think his vivid descriptions are should be in the recruiting arsenals for any company in the area trying to hire someone.
