OK, this has really got me ticked. I signed up for a Kodak EasyShare account when I was exploring the geotagging capabilities of various photosharing sites. Unfortunately, I started getting regular e-mails from them, even though I said I didn’t want such things. So, I decided to click on Unsubscribe. Here’s the message I got…
So, this message tells me that it takes up to FIVE DAYS for me to have my name removed from the list??? It only took me seconds to sign up for an account and upload an image. It’s not like I I’m trying to delete my account – I just want off of their e-mail list.
Understand this – I have written ASP applications that do auto-e-mailing, and I know that it’s trivial to remove a name from the recipient list. So why in the world should this take five days?? I think I smell something amiss.
