Karen Floyd at it again

I am SOOO glad we managed to not elect this bozo as Superintendent of Education.  Last night WSPA-TV news reported that former candidate Karen Floyd sent out Christmas cards with a picture of her family in camouflage with a whole slew of dead doves.  Apparently this made some people angry.  No surprise there.  What is more surprising is that Floyd thought this would be appropriate, especially for a public figure, and was herself surprised at the reactions.

We called Floyd to ask her about the card. She tells us the card went to select family and friends. We asked her if she would talk on camera about it, but she said she was out of town. She did say the picture was taken over Thanksgiving vacation and that her family members are avid hunters, and that this was sent in a comical light hearted tone.

She says the birds were shot over a two day period and that they eat everything they shoot. Floyd says each year their cards have a story to tell, and she is perplexed as to why this is news.

This being South Carolina, I’m afraid there will be even more people who are offended that someone was offended at this.
