In previous posts I have lamented my lack of photography skills. Anytime I find someone who has an artistic eye as well as the skills, I once again lapse into self-loathing of my own meager abilities. Such was the case when I stumbled across Brent Crawford’s new Flickr account. The scary thing is, he doesn’t even need a stellar camera to take great shots. The photo at left was taken with his camera phone at Lemon Grass Thai Food on Main.
So to rouse myself out of my funk, I pulled out the manual to my new Nikon S1 to see if it might provide some hints for better shots. I’ve posted a couple of the shots below…
