Vacation Post-Processing

Photography, Travel

I don’t know what happened yesterday.  Almost all of my photos looked washed out.  I’m not sure if iy was the cloudy sky and terrible lighting, but everything looks washed out.  I woke up early this morning before we hit the road again, and tried to see what I could do about salvaging some of these images in Photoshop.

I took one of my Natural Bridge photos and just did a quick lomograph effect on it.  It certainly looks better than the original – a bit more moody with starker constrast.

Next, I played around with the color curves on the chairlift supports.

Finally, I went back a couple of days and did a fake tilt-shift on a shot of the town of Cumberland I had taken from the Pinnacle overlook.
