The Blue Lagoon

There will always be the inevitible comparisons between my trip of twenty years ago and this one.  The most obvious is that twenty years ago I was broke.  I may wince at the prices this time around, but at least this time I think  I might be able to have a decent meal every now and then and skip McDonalds, where I ate almost every meal last time.

This evening was more ethnic at The Blue Lagoon Thai.   The beers were Singha and Tiger, and the appetizer was chicken satay.  We found equivalents of our favorites, Pad Thai and Pad Khing, and had to try them for comparison.  It was yet another marvelous meal out in Kensington  We finished it up with mango/coconut merangue topped with tropical fruit.
