Summer Disappears

Well, I didn’t win that big lottery, so if you were thinking about asking me for money, forget it.

Summer seems to have disappeared on us, once again. After the Fourth, summer takes a downhill slide into autumn. I have so many projects going at work that should be completed before the start of school, but I don’t think they will all get finished. I’ve had two weekends away from McCarter, now. I still haven’t gotten used to having Sundays off, although it’s kind of fun being a heathen for the time being.

So far, all of my Sundays have been framed by other vacation time, and this weekend is no exception. It will be another couple of weeks before I see what a real weekend is going to be like.

I have finally given up on AOL dial-up. I now have BellSouth DSL, and am much, much happier. The house is networked, and I can even surf the web from the hot tub, if I were foolish enough to do so.
