Monopod

Since the weekend would prove to be crowded out on the waterways, we decided to take a boat ride today instead of face the masses tomorrow.  I drove the entire route, taking us down the river, across the Fort Pierce Inlet, and across from Fort Pierce proper.  We toured the houses along the back side of South Hutchinson Island, then headed back to the inlet.  Even though the holday had nt started, there were still lots of boats out.  I took us on up to our island, and we set up chairs and just hung out for awhile.

Back home, I cleaned up and headed back to my little photography shop in Fort Pierce.  There I purchased a monopod, which I thought would be more flexible for wildlife photography than my tripod.  Since I had to try it out, I headed over to the Wilcox Road wildlife area.  The monopod did what it was supposed to do, and I got some very nice shots.
